Philosophy entered the game. (Philen, to love, Sophia, wisdom). So I can place one of the many branches of Art at the same utilitarian level as research and philosophy.
Science tells us how things work, philosophy how to live. It should be the same for the Artist, but it is no longer the case, as many of them have nothing left to say.
Remember this Persian maxim : Art does not aim to show what is visible but to make visible.
As for me, after long discussions with my husband and/or many other people on a given subject, be it scientific, social, religious, political or other, I like taking up my paintbrush to see what my subconscious thinks of it. I am therefore extremely precise with my project, and I let the wisdom hidden in the deepest zones of my being take over and express on canvas the message of its own reason.
